In 2017, Mr.Soumen Dutta , the Chairman & founder of United Step Foundation started working in Ranchi , capital city of Jharkhand with a vision of an inclusive society where persons with disabilities are ensured equal rights and opportunities in a dignified manner. Today after so many years of persistent work and resilience, United Step Foundation is a proud team of 44+ people working for the four programmes that complement each other.

1. United Step Foundation has been working for different activities for the organisation such as fund raising, creating awareness about cancer by presenting seminars and via print media like news bulletins, pamphlets, posters, banners, conducting detentions camps, organising road shows,rallies,etc.

2. United Steps Foundation intends to has collaborate with the Department of education, Jharkhand in developing different tools to promote inclusion of PWDs in mainstream society. We intend to launch “Disability Resource Helpline- Guiding Voice” in all the 24 districts of Jharkhand to cater to the information, educational and communication needs of parents and caregivers of Children With Special Needs (CWSNs) on inclusive education and other welfare schemes.
